PixelPads are made from North American-grown papers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI). The purpose of these global non-profit organizations is to stop deforestation by certifying socially and environmentally responsible forestry, especially in tropical regions. Certification enables each sheet of paper to be traced back to its roots, literally.
Like Kermit the Frog says, “It’s not easy being green.” It’s even harder when your product is made of 99% paper. Fortunately, with a little research and a little more determination, we made it happen. Our products are created using vegetable inks, certified and recycled paper products, and lots of little recycle reminders to help keep PixelPads zero impact.
When it comes to environmental responsiblity, we’ve earned the merit badge. Scouts’ Honor! And we’re putting our skills to good use.
We want to be proud of everything we make including how it’s made and where it ends-up.
Our Refills are another way we’re saving resources (and money).

VEG INK is non-toxic ink blended from canola, corn, linseed (flax), safflower and sunflower oils.
VEG INK emits extremely low or zero VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) which significantly reduce or eliminate the amount of toxins emitted into the air and soil during manufacturing, printing and recycling. VEG INK also produces brighter colors and less rub-off on your hands. Mom was right, veggies are good for you.
